אז ככה אבא שלי היה נהג מוטורי בציעורותו והיה ברשותו alfa romeo לדעתי בדגם שבתמונה .

ברצוני לדעתי מתי יהיה מפגש מעניין עם מספר רכבים לא דווקא אלפה שאפשר לבוא לראות.

וכמובן דבר העיקרי שהאלפה תהיה במפגש זה המטרה.

ביום ראשון הקרוב בכרמיאל יש ארוע מוטורי הכולל מכוניות מדגמים רבים, בין היתר תוכל לפגוש רכבי אלפא רומאו כמו זאת שבתמונה, מעבר לכך, בכל יום שישי אחר הצהרים עד הערב מתקיים מפגש בנוקיה-תל אביב, גם שם תפגוש מכוניות מכל הדגמים כולל מכוניות מדגם אלפא רומאו של מועדון אלפא קלאסיק.

I need to know what is involved in importing as an oleh chadash a 1969 GTV so I can make a quick decision. I've owned one for 25 years and my son has been driving it in California. We were planning on selling it when we found another one in better condition for sale and I am tempted to buy that one - also a red '69 - and ship it in a container with personal belongings. My son is making aliyah in November. My wife and I already live in Tel Aviv and will be making aliyah probably next month.

 

So, the questions are -

Any idea what the import taxes would be?

What is the value of the car for customs purposes?

What would I have to pay if I wanted to buy one here?

Roughly how much is insurance?

As far as I know a new immigrant can get tax benefits on one car, this car can be a collectors car 30 years or older

 

You have to have a valid driver's license which should be changed to a Israeli Driving license during the first year you are back. If you do not issue an Israeli Driving license during ! the first year you will have to take driving lessons

 

 

A person living in Israel with a permanent resident visa my import, once in 3 years a collector car, provided the car is 30 years old or older

 

The taxes are approx. 118% of the cars value which will be determent by an appraiser when the car comes to Israel. You have to add to the cars value the freight and the insurance: C.I.F people say that all the cost of importing a collector car is approx the number you get by multiplying the sum one paid for the car in $ times ten, the result is in N.I.S

e.g. if you bring a car that cost $ 5000 it will cost you "on the road in Israel" N.I.S. 50,000.

You should ask the custom office ("mechess") for specific regulations which apply to your statues.

You will also have to obtain an import license.
