I need to know what is involved in importing as an oleh chadash a 1969 GTV so I can make a quick decision. I've owned one for 25 years and my son has been driving it in California. We were planning on selling it when we found another one in better condition for sale and I am tempted to buy that one - also a red '69 - and ship it in a container with personal belongings. My son is making aliyah in November. My wife and I already live in Tel Aviv and will be making aliyah probably next month. So, the questions are - Any idea what the import taxes would be?
