Audi A3 powered by a GT2871R and GIAC software does 100-200km/h in 7.9 seconds!

 

E-51 Racing in Taiwan recently participated in a shootout where their DSG Audi A3 completed a 100-200 km/h sprint (62-125mph) in a blistering 7.9 seconds. All performance data was measured with a Racelogic V-box Mini.

 

For reference here are 100-200km/h measurements from other vehicles:

 

Nissan GT-R: 8.9 sec

BMW M5: 9.4 sec

B7 Audi RS4: 10.9 sec

Stock Porsche 997.1T (Tiptronic): 8.5 sec

Stock VW GTI MK5: 27.0 sec

This car is equipped with the following hardware:

 

Forged rods

Forged pistons (9.5:1 compression)

S3 cam

Bosch Motorsport 044 in-tank fuel pump

VF-Engineering RSS turbo kit with .86 trim GT2871R

SSP DSG clutch pack upgrade

Custom high pressure GIAC ECU software

7200 RPM GIAC DSG flash

50/50 water methanol injection (98 RON fuel)

 

The E-51 A3 was the fastest 2.0T tested in the shootout, and if it isn’t a record time for the MK5/8P platform, it should be very close! This custom calibration can be made available for customers who have the above listed supporting hardware. If you have further questions regarding upgrading to this file, please contact me. Full results from the shootout will be published in the near future. So, when I receive more information, I will post it. Congratulations to E-51 for putting together a well built A3!

GIAC tuned Champion Motorsport (CMS) 68mm 997 Turbo unloads at 764 4WD HP (900-1000 crank HP) on VGTs!

This is a built motor tune of course!

Congratulations Champion on this successful build. That 900-1000HP on VGTs and 3.6Ls is unheard of!

 

-CMS 68mm billet turbochargers… we have all read about by now.

Built on standard 997.1 cores, with proprietary turbine mods.

-CMS intercoolers, complete with hoses, etc..

-CMS 3 into 1, 1 5/8 primary tube equal length headers

-Werks 1 T-pipe in carbon, complete with 82mm throttle, and silicon hoses

-Werks 1 Y-pipe in carbon

-Siemans 83 lb injectors

-BBI Ignition coils

-Werks 1 carbon turbo inlet air recovery air boxes (these are prototypes, but are going to be mass produced as we are completing the molds now)

-Finally, the stuff that makes it all work… GIAC TUNING ! Until you have tuned and data logged with the tools GIAC has, your eyes are shut.

-Tubi Race exhaust

-The car is a 2007 997TT with 30K miles on it, and it had never had a prior upgrade, your basic virgin.. well except for the 30K
