האם להשאיר קיקר 10" או להחליף ל12"?

ok.. so i bought the rockford fosgate p4004 and i also bought the kicker c10d (10" 4 ohm) wich will be pushed by two channels of the rockford...

 

do you think it is a good match?

who is stronger in this situation?

 

will it be smarter to buy the 12" kicker and try to sell the 10" in israel?

 

or am i too greedy and the 10" will be enough?

simple:

 

you need the same subwoofer, but the version that has

two 2ohm voice coils

or in the profesional term: dual 2ohm voice coils sub

Okie, listen dude.

This amplifier isn't good for you, because it's 4-ohm stable in bridged mode

 

and your Subwoofer (Kicker CompVR 10") is DUAL VOICE COIL (DVC) 4 ohms

 

That's means, you need amplifier that stable at 2 ohms.

 

You can use the all 4 channels, and wire it in bridged mode, but it will take you all the amplifier channels. (bridged ch1+ch2 for 1 voice coil, and ch3+ch4 for the second voice coil - though it's not recommended.)

 

You wanted to wire this amplifer to the sub, and 2 more speakers?

 

as you know, in USA you can return the item that you were bought, and get ALL your money back.

 

"about 12", it's 10$ difference, but more useful than 10

my model's name says is C10d, on the back of it written "4 ohm" (no mention for DVC(

it look exactly like the model right here:

this subwoofer does not lookes like my subwoofer and it's model is slightly different (c10vr, mine is c10d)

 

in this model they do mention the DVC thing...

גם עופר (הידוע בכינויו KICKER) היה בזמנו עם סאב "12 של קיקר קומפ שמקבל 200W RMS. ולטעתנו, עבד יפה, וללא שום בעיה.

וגם יש האומרים שרוקפורד תמיד מפחיתים את ההספקים שלהם, אז תוסיף לזה עוד כמה אחוזים בודדים.
