מתחיל להשתעשע ברעיון לייבא אחת כזו...

ב 84 לספיידר יש הזרקה של בוש ולא של ספיקה. קודם כל ניסיתי למצא את ההבדלים בספסיפיקיישן בין מנוע ה 2.0 הארופאי והאמריקאי בשנים האלו ולא ממש מצאתי...חוץ מזה, למיטב ידיעתי המנועים היותר מוקדמים, אלו שהשתמשו בספיקה היו עם בוכנות שונות ויחס דחיסה יותר נמוך כך שגם החלפה לרקבורטורים לא "תתקן" אותם...מה בדבר המנועים מהשנים האלו, האם הם זהים למנועים אירופאיים? מה נתוני ההספק?

ראובן, מי אם לא אתה..מסתבר שההבדלים גדולים ועוד דבר מוזר, האמריקאית שוקלת 110 קילו יותר (??) האם זה אותו מנוע עם הזרקה של בוש במקום קרבורטורים או שהמנוע עצמו שונה?

אחרי בדיקה...בור סטרוק ויחס דחיסה זהה, זה אומר שההבדלים הם רק ההזרקה והקטליזטור? את זה אפשר לשנות...

מניסיון על רכב אחר מאותם שנים (פורשה) באותם שנים ארה"ב החמירה עם תקני זיהום אוויר ותוספות לפגושים שישכחו פגיעות במהירות נמוכה וכך יצרנים אירופיים שביקשו לייצא לארה"ב הוסיפו/שינו מערכות שיעמדו בתקנים וכל זה שווה משקל עודף ביחס למקבילות האירופיות.

דווקא דוגמא טובה...פורשה הבינו ראשונים שצריך לעשות מחדש את כל העיצוב החיצוני לכל העולם והמנוע זהה למעט שינויים באגזוז ובסעפות. המשקל זהה ואחרי כמה שינויים גם הכ״ס. ב 83 אלפא עשתה אותו דבר ואיחדה את העיצוב, השאלה אם גם המנוע אותו דבר אחרי כמה שינויים...
