Yup, the current generation Z06 has one of the best suspensions around, I have seen quite a few different tests comparing various cars with the Z06 and that things quick around a race track, I'll try to find it, I just saw recently somewhere a test comparing the Porsche GT3 and the Corvette Z06 and the Corvette won... forget about the legends about american muscle cars that are fast only when they go straight, the Corvette Z06 is a monster, I can tell you that it's one of the only cars that can really beat me at the race track 75% of the time and these new ones are going to be even faster

Why won't you tell everybody though, how you were physically shaking after a 5 minute ride in my car, not to mention the 20 minute session later

מעניין אותי למה אמריקאיים לא שמים טורבו ברכבים האלה, במקום לעשות כמו היפנים. מנוע קטן ולהוסיף טורבו וכל השטיות.

יש משהו מיוחד בדבר הזה?

האם זה רק בשביל ההרגשה של מנוע גדול? ואז לא שמים טורבו בגלל צריכת דלק מטורפת?

... give me one Japanese vehicle that can come close in the performance to the Z06, I'd love to hear about it... the V8 7.0L isn't exactly a gas saver either

Normally aspirated V8's have an amazing powerband, small displacement turbos can only dream about it in their wildest dream

 

For $60k, there's not a single street car in the world in normal type of production that is anywhere near that level of performance, absolutely zero

כי זה אמריקאי!!! מי שרוצה מנוע קטן, מסריח, צווחן וסלד בשמיים שיקנה יפני.

יש מדי פעם איזה גרסה לרכב שרירים אמריקאי עם טורבינה או שתיים... אבל זה כבר מוגזם בטירוף... גם 7 ליטר וגם טורבו???

I wouldn't go that far Yoel, once you saw a turbo Supra moving you would be much more postitive about the Japanese engineering

בניגוד גמור, כמובן, למנוע אמריקאי גדול וחזק, כמו אני אוהב...

לא יודע למה, אבל כשהכוח מגיע באיזור ה- 7000 סל"ד (ע"ע הונדה), זה ממש לא עושה לי את זה...
