מרוץ של 500 קמ מרביתו בשטח פרטי של משפחה אחת.

הסוזוקי הוא אחד הרכבים היחידים שלא שוקע במרוץ הזה, לא סתם הוא חביב הגדש!

I neverrealy looked into how much it coast me in total so its not a bad exercise forme.

so here is approximatelythe breakdown:



The race isaround 1000 km (not a miss print) away from the capital of western Australia Perth.so towing the car up north on trailer would coast around 300 + 300 back + 100for service car going from stage to stage + 250 for race car.



Total around$1000 in fuel.



Than $733 forthe race registration not include ambulance evacuation so that another 80 odd dollars



You need tobring food if you are not a big fan of the local road kill. And all campinggear as there is nothing around in a radius of about 250km.

Hot showersprovided and a sea container converted into a pub is probably the most popular placeafter a day of racing out in the bush.



The car wasgiven to me by a good friend but I did spend a good 2 weeks nights to get itready, including changing a head gasket the night before the race...



So in totalif you have a race car and a trailer already it would coast around $2200 thatis around 4.4 dollars a kilometre of racing which is bloody good!



Now as arule here co driver pays half of car fuel and registration that 491 each



Than therewas 3 of us in the towing car going up north and back and thats gets split solets say 233 each.



So I wouldsay $750 which end up $1.5 a km!!!!!!! All included!!!!!! Unreal



Im sure Imissed a few dollars but still a bargin.

My old subaru is growing rust for the past 4 years and I belive no longer suitible for racing.

car is probably still running there was nothing wrong with it before i left the country any one interested in it please let me know. also i have another subaru with roll cage its a 4x4 1.8 turbo in much better condition with all parts but not built with a sparco roll cage in it but not complete. that also can go for a small donation. could be a great practice car was running before I pulled it apart
