buying a HU in New york

Hello everybody!

I'm in New york now, and today i saw in china town a car stereo store with some nice things in it...

My question is, i saw the alpine 9853 if i'm not mistake in 250$...

first of all, how is the price?

second of all, the sale's guy told me that he can write for me in the recipt that the HU is used, and also that it actual price in under 200$

 

Is that enough to pass custom?

and open the box that u get to see that there is really inside what u bought

i know...

the marchendise they have there looks new, and sealed inside the boxes...

but i'll check it anyway...

but all of this irelavent if this won't pass custom...

is it enough for him to write that the price is under 200$ or that the HU is used?

if he will declaire the item as "used" , u can ask him to write a lower price, and at the custom u will only charge by the price u paid,but when arrival from other state to israel , u can import electronic merch' till 200$ with no duty taxes and u will pass the "green line" z.

so u won't have eny duty problems.
