As I went for a ride with my buddy Greg...we stopped for gas at the SA gas station at 394 and Louisiana Ave. to find about 15 cop cars arresting a bunch of sportbikers. They had the gas station blocked off so it was hard to get in and out of. There were 6 cops on 394, 3 on each side west bound and east bound. I was riding my 750 and Greg was on his FJR. The cops were asking all of the bikers for a drivers license and was running them for warrants and such. As they found some without endorsements they towed bikes by wrapping a tow strap around it and lifting it behind an old fashioned tow truck. I saw a Ducatti 999 getting the shit crushed out of it due to the way they were doing this. The State troopers and local cops from St.Louis Park and Golden Valley were laughing about it. I recognized one of the troopers as the guy that wrote me a ticket for something I didn't do. He said all sportbikers are hoodlums and should be thrown in jail. He also said something about "all" of us terrorize auto drivers daily. What a stupid prick! I was trying to get Greg to leave the gas station as soon as he was finished gassing up, but he walked over and started to talk with the guys that were being arrested. I watched the cops start to look at his bike as he had taken off the bags and it looked like a sportbike then. I got my gas and left. They were looking at everyones license that rode in a bike to the gas station. I left before I was stopped. When I was on my way to the gas station and riding slowly down Louisiana near my apartment a St.Louis Park cop saw me and ran up behind me almost hitting me from the rear, like I was going to bolt or something. I was going 30mph and he had to lock up his brakes to avoid hitting me. What a bunch of dumb asses. Cops and Bike riders both. I guess since I ride a bike I'm guilty by association. The fucks. Watch it out there when on that strech of highway.
