Summaries: All mixed up after all the testing and switching between all the competitors it's time to decide and deliver some verdicts. Since the pricing has been very different on all competitors it has been calculated in the final verdict but we can already say that no one in this test is a bad buy in any way. On the other hand we found out that there are lots of variations between the competitors that needs to be noticed before it's time to install your speakers. DLS Ultimate costs a lot and it shows on the crossover components. It also has one of the most correct hifi sounds but a bit more action and impact had been nice. DLS Classic only costs a fraction of its big brother and we think it has more value for the money. Of course, it has not the sound qualities either but will perform around 80% of its big brother. To perform the last bit is expensive as we all know. Dragster DSK 572 is a nightmare for the one who has owns a weak amplifier, hates bass and lacks installation depth in their car. For the rest of us it's a cool experience. To bad you can't see the magnets once the speaker has been installed. Dragster DSK 532 is a slim fit smaller brother but with the same sound characteristics but it does not require as much power. It's a less correct but more party sounding competitor to DLS Classic. Rockford Power is suited for those who are tired of plastic. The sound is nice and they perform well with most music but leaves a bit "flat" listening impression. The price is motivated by the expensive construction materials. Sony is a very well sounding speaker in the lower price ranges but has a bit boring (or just discrete) exterior. And finally Rainbow: Just above mid price in this test and with absolute top results sound wise!
