אני רק רוצה להסביר לבחור מה כרוך בהתקנת WasteGate ושידע שכדי להרכיב WasteGate

חיצוני חייבים לבנות חיבור כלשהו (צנרת מקשרת) בין הסעפת פליטה ל - WasteGate ול - DOWNPIPE , וזה יצריך שינוים בסעפת פליטה ובטורבו .

נכון בטח שזה אפשרי. אבל לא אמין ויקר.

לכן כדאי להכין סעפת לבד או לקנות אחת מוכנה.

Moshik, you ignore a serious factor here and maybe a little mistake as well... Tubular manifolds, as opposed to cast manifolds that the car comes with, tend to crack, so even though changing the cast manifold will cost a little more to modify it is well worth the difference because you will never have a problem with it, not to mention that with most cast manifolds - they can be ported as well as polished and flow much better when done right

 

All this leads me back to the original question regarding the external wastegate and I must say that it sounds from many of you guys like it is a good mod for a normal car... well, I don't think so.... most of you completely disregard the fact that the tempertures under the hood are going to rise considerably, that it offers no advantage in reliability whatsoever over a turbo with a normal internal wastegate that is properly sized and sprung to begin with.... it is one of the last things I would even touch on a normal car

 

Regarding the blow off valve, read again what Ozzy wrote, it is exactly what happens when you play with it, and if you must get one - not that I understand why - go with the recirculating type and NOT vent-to-atmosphere type (VTA), your ECU is not going to like a VTA

 

A nice 2.5" full exahust system mandrel bent (NOT crush bent) will make a nice difference in the car, don't bother with the downpipe if you are going to replace the turbo sometime as you might need to change it and do it again

 

As for the turbo, I read from many of you about the K04, how does it compare with the Garrett GT28R or T3S60 for example? I would imagine there are better choices of a turbo than the K04, the fact that it's been done before doesn't make it the best one and if the guy is thinking about getting a different turbo he might as well get a better one

בקשר לטורבו - או שזה K03 מוגדל .. או שזה K04 לא סגור על זה אבל זה בטח לא K03 רגיל כמו בלאון הקודומות כולל ה

זה לא K04,זה K03S (כמו שאמרתי זה לא המונח האמיתי אבל ככה מגדירים אותו על מנת להפריד).

מניפות גדולות יותר ו IMPELER מורחב יותר.

וזה בדיוק אותו אחד כמו בכל הלאונים בארץ ובעולם מאז ומעולם כולל אלו משנת 2000 שלא הגיעו לארץ.

 

יש רק שתי גרסאות ללאון עם ה K04 והם לא מגיעות לארץ,ה קופרה R בגרסאת 210 הישנה ובגרסת

225 בחדשה,למעשה מנוע זהה לזה שב TT החזקה.

אני ממש לא חושב ככה מוטי.... סעפת שהוכנה ע"י רתך מקצועי לא תיסדק.. נכון שיציקה יותר חזקה אבל לא כדאי להתעסק בשינויים של הסעפת המקורית.

Turbos for those engines are becoming a somewhat kind of fashion

every few months a diffrent turbo is declared as the ultimate one

when it comes to power delivery and maintaining as much as possible of the car's original characteristic

 

actually the GT28R is at the moment a perfect choice to go for

there is nothing what so ever to compare it to the K04

the K04 is considered a mild upgrade.

it is a OEM turbo,that will hit a 270-280 HP wall.

the turbine itself can be upgrated to achive 300 HP

but i say ,what for?

might as well get a turbine that can handle ...say 350 HP have it boosting mildly together with a nice fuel map ,take care of better intercooling and cooling in general

and you are better off this way.

i think personally that 300 HP is a magic number,over that its twilight zone for mass production cars. and the costs of running a daily driven car are getting abit high.

the GT28R is the one i want to go for, for that matter.

Yeah there's a lot of marketing bull$hit when it comes to turbos, you probably refer to the GT28RS AKA the Disco potato as one with some serious marketing hype around it... been there, seen that, drove a car equipped with one, it's nothing special and has some ugly lag comparing to the GT28R

 

.I have a GT28R ball bearing on my miata and that turbo is awesome, the K04 is a waste of money in my opinion

well moti mabey all the hundreds of people that you know have shitty ssautochrome manifolds.

 

i also have a slight modified stock cast mani on my civic so i can assure you that it was a major PITA to fabricate it. but if i had the

chance i would definitely buy a full-race Tubular manifolds

 

people in israel are using 304 s.steel to make manifold's that made over 500 whp.

 

 

moshik the guy that built a turbo on his hatch from scrach without any knowledge in engine mechanics .
