פשוט מדהים , אין מילים .

יש נתונים על הרכב ? מנוע ? מגדש ? מה בדיוק קורה שם ?

זה נראה מטורף לחלוטין, הוא עוקף את כולם בהתחלה כאילו זה משחקי וידאו.

זה בארה"ב אני מניח ? רוב המכוניות שם היו BMW, ראיתי כמה פורש וVIPER אם אני לא טועה , איפה עוד יכול להיות VIPER.

נערך במסלול אסן, הולנד

 

לפי מה שראיתי, זה לא נראה לי שווה כוחות כל כך, או שיש לו מכונית הרבה יותר חזקה, או לחילופין, יריבים לא שקולים.

לקראת סוף הסרטון רואים אותו במאבק עם רכב שהוא פחות או יותר שווה כוחות אליו, מכל הסרטון הזה הוא הנהג היחיד שנתן לו פייט, וסגר לו את הדלת בפניות [נהיגה הגנתית] מה ששאר הנהגים לא בדיוק עשו, מה עוד שרואים שהוא לא שומר על קו מירוץ, ונראה כאילו הוא ממשיך להיאבק עם אותו נהג על ההובלה, ואז הסרטון נגמר..

אך זה לא בא להוריד מההערכה שיש לי כלפי אותו נהג, שפיץ רציני.

From the sound of the motor I would guess normally aspirated, no turbo or supercharger... I'm guessing a bad ass built motor

The competition was, as mentioned by Alon, in Holland... I haven't spotted any Vipers there, there is one kind of car that I don't recognize that looks like a coupe with a slanted tail and wide fender flares... I did spot there 3 Clios, those don't exist in the US Shlomi

 

Alon, it seems like the speed differential that the guy had vs the rest of the cars is almost beyond defensive driving, he can pretty much pass them anywhere, at this point it "pays off" to just let the guy by and deal with the rest of the cars

...I'm wondering how they came up with that order of the starting grid

Shlomi, the chassis is pretty much the first thing to be modified in a built racecar, normally the overall configuration remains the same but the changes in the chassis can be quite radical, from moving the suspension pickup points, changing the whole suspension configuration completely, building a rollcage which protrudes beyond the firewall and into the trunk to reinforce everything in the car, seam welding, spot welding... a fully built racecar normally has a completely reworked chassis

 

This is exactly where I'm stuck right now with my miata, I'm looking into it and not sure if I want to dump the $$ into it... it's a lot of money to build the chassis properly, I have seen miatas built for racing that the cost of the rollcage alone was $10k and the completed tub was $25k

.Yes, the choice of car makes a big difference

 

Some things cannot be changed or should not be changed, things like minimum weight that you can get too using the same methods of modifications - can you bring a Porsche Carrera with reworking the chassis to the same weight that you can get to with a Miata after reworking the chassis? No, the carrera will always be a few hundreds of kilos heavier... this is something that you cannot change

 

Example for something that you should not change is wheelbase - the Same Porsche has a much longer wheelbase than the same Miata which means it will have much higher stability and the more power you'll be putting down the more evident it will be... can you extend the wheelbase of the miata while redoing the chassis by 30mm to raise the stability? Sure you can, it's even recommended, SHOULD you extend it by 30cm to makes it comparable to the Porsche? No, that difference is too big from the original configuration and if you're interested in that big of a difference you should start off with a different car
