האחריות כוללת חלקים שמתקלקלים, לא כאלה שצריך להחליף כל X שנים. בסוף תגלה שהיא כוללת בעיקר מנוע וגיר ומכלולים שממילא מחזיקים את הנסועה הזו.

What is covered under The Antwerpen YES! 20-Year / 200,000 Mile Warranty? 

The lifetime engine limited warranty covers engine components, and related labor. All internally  lubricated parts contained within the engine block and cylinder head(s) including: piston, piston rings,  wrist pings and bushings, connecting rods and rod bearings, crankshaft and main bearings, camshaft, cam  chains, cam bearings and cam cover, timing chain, gears, tensioner and guide, variable valve, timing parts,  rocker arms, shafts and bushings, rocker arm pivots, adjustments screws, spring and tension controller,  valves, valve seats, valve springs, valve spring retainers, valve guides, valve push roads, hydraulic valve  lifters, oil pump, oil pump drive, shaft and gears. Cylinder head, engine block and rotor housings when  damaged as a result of the failure of a covered internally lubricated part. Seals and gaskets when required  in connection with the repair or replacement of a covered part. Coolant, lubricants and oil filters when  required in connection with the repair or replacement of a covered part.  

 

כפי שנכתב לעיל - האחריות היא למעשה על המנוע בלבד, שגם ככה לא אמור להתקלקל בתקופה הזאת. הבודדים שיגיעו לנסועה גבוהה וגם לא יטפלו במנוע כך שיגיעו לכשל בטלים בשישים מול האלפים שיקנו את המכוניות האלה על סמך הקמפיין. סביר להניח שזה יהיה תקף רק לרוכש הראשון. בקיצור, לא חוכמה גדולה, והוכחה נוספת שחשוב לקרוא את האותיות הקטנות.

אגב בסינגפור (והיתה לי שם אוטלנדר חדשה) 10 שנות אחריות על מנוע, גיר ומערכת ההניע, מתוכן 5 מלאות.
יש יצרנים שנותנים שנתיים (בלי שמות) ושנה שלישית בתשלום או "רצון טוב"
יש בזה אמירה (ואת המוניטין הם הרוויחו בצדק) של אמינות המוצר.

אני לא בא למכור לאף אחד מיצובישי ולספר על נפלאות הרכב שהוא מתת האל לאדם
אבל אם יש להם נקודת חוזקה, זאת האמינות הגבוהה

Applying to original owners of new, retailed Mitsubishi models purchased from an authorized Mitsubishi Dealer, our Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the repair or replacement of select engine, transmission and transaxle powertrain components originally manufactured and installed by Mitsubishi that may become defective under normal use and maintenance, along with authorized Mitsubishi powertrain components installed by an authorized Mitsubishi dealer. Coverage is for 10 years or 100,000 miles for most models. Any subsequent owners receive the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.
