The miata was born to be a lightweight roadster, and the first generation car does it a little better than the second gen car... don't expect anything unusual or super fancy because you're not gonna find it, it has decent seats, steering wheel that's a bit too large, fairly quick ratio power steering rack with only 2.8 turns from lock to lock, basic power accessories like power windows, mirrors and antenna, AC that works great cooling down or heating up a car that already has a very small interior volume

 

The one very important thing that is missing from the miata is good roll bar, ever since I put one on my car, waaaay before I even thought it will be a full race car, driving or riding in a miata that doesn't have one feels unsafe and definitely not as much fun

 

A good 4 point roll bar is one thing I'll HIGHLY recommend after purchasing the car, and let's be adult enough to admit that we're all fooling around with the cars at least once in a while, and let's be mature enough to realize that the unexpected can happen to me and you too and that there's always a chance that the shiny side of the car will hit the pavement.... a good roll bar is the cheapest life insurance you can buy, REMEMBER - no one plans on rolling their car over

Yes, it will be a pain in the a$$ to pass the car through the change of structure process but here are a few pics to show you the difference between miatas with roll bars to miatas without

As for seats and stereo, well, the stock seats are pretty decent to begin with, there are a few good racing seats that fit the miata's narrow interior, especially next to the transmission tunnel, note that I'm refering to fixed back seats and not recliners, those are normally too wide for the miata.... with the stereo, after 3 stereo installations I did in my miatas I know what sounds fairly well, but it's a convertible so don't expect a recording studio sound because you wouldn't get it unless you really put a $hitload of cash into it, but who cares about it anyways? for the same money you can already put a turbo and have a much better sound

... besides, stereo only makes the car heavy so screw that

 

If you must have a stereo than here' the deal how to make it sound fairly good for not too much money - 6.5" two way components - the strongest clearest sounding ones you can get, the best I found were the Infinity Kappa series, they rock! Next you'll need a 3 channel (4 bridged) decent amp and a nice 10" sub, my best ones after doing it three times were Sony 880W amp and again - Infinity Kappa perfect series sub... build a custom eclosure for the left corner of the trunk, you can do it yourself if you're handy with tools, I built mine and I can send you pics, combine that with your choice of a head unit, speakers in original locations in the doors, crossovers zip tied under the dashboard and tweeters silicone glued to the windshield makes into a super stealth install and sounds great....dammit, I've been messing around with miata way too much and for waaay too long LOL

 

Anything else? oh yes - good tires are a must, so is a good aggressive alignment... when you come to modify the car you will be absolutely amazed by the aftermarket support that this car has!!! the aftermarket for miatas in the US is insane! you can buy GREAT things for cheap and make it into a bad a$$ car in any way you wish too - want to have the car handling as if the road was coated in glue? for less than a $1000 you can pull over a full G on good street tires... want to beat WRXs? slap a turbo on it and you're there, the motor is already built for it

רז, האוטו של מושיק (הונדה סיביק 1.4) משאירה ליונדאי אבק. מה נראה לך שאני יעשה באוטו כזה ?

ב.מ.וו זה לא בשבילי הביטוחים יקרים והמיתוג שלו או הסטיגמה שלו אם תרצה היא בכי רע.

MX3, לא מכיר את האוטו הזה. לא אוהב אותו. אוטו של ילדים מתלהבים.

המיאטה באמת מומלצת, מבחינת הגג יש בעיית ריקבון(נסיון משני מיאטות של חברים).

בסך הכל אוטו באמת שאפשר ליהנות ממנו, אך אם אתה לא עושה לו קצת טיונינג , חבל להחליף

פשוט חבל.

I have no idea how your friends took care or didn't take care of the soft top, where they park they car or WTF... the soft top needs to be replaced once in while, my current one is over ten years old and is still okay, I know quite a few guys with tops that look like new and are over 10 years old... regardless, it's a fairly cheap top to buy and can be replaced by a weekend mechanic
