Miata & iPod

Hi

 

I have a Mazda Miata 2004, and i'm trying to connect an iPod to the original car stereo.

 

I have tried this FM transmitors, they suck. I want something with better quality.

the original stereo does not have an AUX IN input.

however, it does have the ability to control a changer/MD. (using M-Bus connection?)

Does anyone have any expeirence with such?

where to get an original mazda changer-to-stereo cable?

If you have any technical, mechanical question I can help you but I'm sorry, my experience with the iPod is just not there, maximum I did with the miata is to install a stereo sys by myself a few years ago but that's about it

I actually browsed Miata.net for awhile, and couldnt find the relative information, as i beleive the Israel importer provide us with different stereos than the ones provided in the US.

 

so i thought some of the local guys will have any idea.

how difficuilt can it get? getting an AUX-IN stereo input on a stereo that support MD/changer?

eitanshay, if i remember correct.

there were some "plugs" you can buy, for kenwood for example.

who takes the CHANGER input, and makes it an "AUX" input...

 

about your's i aint sure.. it been told its optional, you could ask around at some shops for that plug, i guess some of them have experience in the subject.

or other solution ..

Thats exactly what i'm looking for.

 

i thought someone will have that info & going over from one shop to the other, letting them rip out my stereo , only to find out they dont have that part...

 

I was hoping anyone would know what part# i'm looking for, so i might even be able to order it from the net.
