Unfortunately it is a very expensive show to attend even as a mere visitor, but certainly worth it and slightly more exciting than this one. if my plan doesnt work out you will have to endure another report from the Otley Vintage Extravaganza.

Only a buyer who does not understand what restoration is will be happy to purchase this example. And in this day and age many people know what a restoration should look like. לסיכום לדעתי זה מנוע טוב מבחינת התכנון שלו כמו כל מנוע אחר. תאום מנוע לקח לי קצת יותר מחצי שעה עם מכשיר ארבע גזים ואקדח הצתה. המנוע הגיב יפה לכל תנועת סיבוב קלה של הדיזות, באופן הגיוני. התוצאה מנוע עגול בסרק ושש אלי סלד עם פתיחת מצערת. אז למה החוויה של בני שונה ככ משלי? ההשערה שלי היא כי כאשר האוטו הזה היה מגיע למוסך בשנת 88 נניח. אחרי שכבר עבד וגם בואו נודה אולי כבר קצת התבלה ותוחזק תחזוקת שבר כבר כמה שנים, והבעלים מבקש רק תאום מנוע כאשר קשה עד בלתי אפשרי לדעת נתונים נכונים למנוע בגלל מחסור במידע, מהו מרווח פלטינות נכון? סוג ומרווח מצתים? מרווח שסתומים? קידום הצתה בסרק? ,אם תושבות המאיידים זולגות אוויר והבעלים לא רוצה להחליף, או שאי אפשר להשיג אז מורחים בסיליקון וכו וכו התוצאה אי אפשר לכוון מנןע ככה גם אם מצליחם למחרת שוב יהיה לא מכוון. זה לא אשמת המנוע, זה כל מה שמסביב.

Thanks Israel , I have a short video of the engine running while i was setting it up. Its short and sounds different in real life I tried to upload it but couldnt do it. if anyone has any tips please share with me a couple of final pictures in the meantime. one last thing about the setting up of this engine that Benny L warned me about earlier. And finally engine running, sounds just like a Fulvia engine should - nothing quite like it. very distinct sound,. If the owner will agree I will take it for a rolling road still a few little things to look at as it was standing for about three yrs.

Engine going back in I have added a picture of the Fulvia with steering wheel on the ''other'' side to me they are all cars now no matter where the steering wheel is. I still remember when a RHD seemed less of a car to me, as if it was flawed or damaged somehow.

nearly 10 years since all the major work took place, the screen original rubbers are too tired and have started leaking. I just finished fitting the new rubber, and the anodised trim. I remember a zagag in Israel that wanted to change the rubber for me a good 20 yrs ago and said he will fit a proper rubber for me without this trim ''mi tzarich et ze?'' luckily i refused his offer, tomorrow i will put the screen back in and let you know how it went
