In Finnish there is a good "imra": "Frayer" who pays not who asks. But I think the same like bagira. It is quiet weard that 97 year model and high class car is so "muznah".The XM is a great car if it been well serviced, for example: The green oil been replaced regulary, the green oil filter been cleaned regulary. All these because the hydraulic system is very complicated and very expansive to fix. The technic is simple(the same as in the Peugeot 605) so check the usual things as timing belts, services etc.

The injected version has 98HP and the carb. version 105. Both of them are fast enough. The 33's weight is 900kg

^^ Lancia Dedra is the same as Fiat Tempra/Tipo so you can do a service in every point. Bad paint is a normal thing for old and used car, I cant understand the point! If you want that everything in the will be perfect-buy a new one! And the 33 is not from 80's, it's from the 70's and the build quality is very good if the last owners werenot a monkies.

^ The last 33 with 2 double carbs been made in 92'. After, you could bought it only with injection system. And it doesnot mater how it was working as new. Eviatar wants to know how it as USED car.

If the car is in good condition so it's handling is great! "merkaz koved" is very low so you feel as if you drive a kart. The sterreng wheel is very informative and the car seats very good in the curvs. It's much more fun to drive than Tempra(I owned also Tempra:-P About the sport suspension I can't say nothing, because my 33 is equipped with standard suspension. in my opinion it's not nesessery to put koni's. But as I said it's my opinion.

I have owned my 33 2 years and she did in the first year 35000km and in the last year 15000km without problems. As i said before it's depends on the car which you will buy.

Only the Sprint 83' has the front brakes which seat on the gear. Oh how I know? I have one8)

^ With all the respect for the Dedra and i have a respect(i owned 1 it is luxury and beautiful Tempra, it is completely the same! If you dont know, dont speak! I have Alfa 33 93 1.7 8V which 35400km and it shows GREAT reliability, because it has always been in a good hands. if you will read my massege again you will see, that I wroght "Look for the bast 33", because I know that if is was in a bad hands it is one 8)BIG problem. Don't harry, take your time and you willnot regret about your dissision

The Alfa 33 was sold in Israel in the next specification(the new model 1990-1994: 1.5 two double carbs with 105HP,1.5 injection 94 or 97 HP I dont remember, 1.7 8 Valve 107HP and the 33 green clover leaf 1.7 16V with 132 HP. About the smalest block I dont know,I at least have never heard and seen thats version. The 33 is totaly diffrent car than Tempra, it is a real "old school" alfa romeo. If it was in a good hands it will be an amazing car with a VERY high reliability level if it wasnot it will be a real disastor. Look for the bast 33 which you will find. P.S The gold cloverleaf was an option of gadjets for the I series 33

When we were live in israel my father had an Alfa 164. he sold it before we went here and one year after it i saw that this Alfa is for sale. I want to ask you: maybe somebody knows something about this car or maybe somebody from the forum is her owner? It is Alfa 164 95' T.Spark white with black bumpers and side strips. At the time it had also 3 alfa romeo stickers. i will be very thanksfull for an any information
