As you can probably tell, some things are added (like the Customized L.E.D. tail lights, all-around 3M High Gloss FX tintand Spoiler-original), Most everything else is original (added at the factory) - like the sports rims and tires, vertical skylight and chrome stripes along the roof. Interior is leather, Bucket seating, with a Full Technology package (other than Navigation) In addition, I added a custom-fit Long RAM Cold Air Intake and I did an L.E.D. interior swap with original Nissan clear door panels and blue L.E.D.s for the doors. Enjoy

Actually, I think the CX-7 would be more fitting for Israel. It's small, it has a nice interior and PLENTY of room in the back. The drive - relative to other Mazdas I've driven here - is not bad at all. The turbo engine gives it a little more "kick" and the dashboard has some very convenient features - Mazda surprised me. As much as I enjoyed driving it on the freeways (from NY to Canada), it was not nearly as smooth as other Nissans and Toyotas I've driven (in its class). But again, I think it's perfect for the Israeli crowd ...and meets Israel's standard

@ THE-ONE: Exactly. I just noticed that she's not physically blocking traffic EDITED: I now see what the issue is... And @ mayrun: I completely agree with you, I'd rather pay double than have them mess with my car...simply put: it's RUDE

Looks SWEET. I'm hoping to do that next year... Enjoy! And be safe

That's DISGUSTING. Since when do they tow cars if you park in the wrong spot? Is that something new in this country, or have I been missing something? It's unbelievable how they manage to waste time and money on stupid things - there are real problems they should be worrying about, not people who park ...illegaly Side note: I would freak out if I saw that shit happening to my car...too bad the concept of sueing isn't an option...or is it? j

I would not suggest taking the A6 down to the beach, unless there is a ramp in which the tires can grip - otherwise, you'll bury yourself in the sand in no time. In regards to taking the actual Ski down, in most situations the car does not touch the water, it stays about one meter from the water and the Ski, with its trailer, gets submerged in the water. Also, take note, regardless of what Jeep (from experience, Range Rovers will dig themselves just as fast as any other car) you will end up using - if you are driving over areas with deep sand ALWAYS make sure to gain momentum and speed before driving over the area. If you try to drive "Cautiously" over the sand, you will have to spend your day looking for someone to pull you out (again, from experience) I suggest you find yourself a nice place where you can pay a small fee to have the benefit of taking the Audi down without causing any damage. From what I've seen so far, I haven't found a decent place to take down the Jetski without driving over patches of sand - and therefore, I use a 4x4. Good luck

I am on Kvish 2 every day and people simply don't know how to drive. You can cruise for a maximum of 2 or 3 minutes, but after that, you'll either: 1. - Be cut off by a person in the adjacent lane who's only 2 meters in front of you, leaving you no option but to brake 2. Eventually (even if you're cruising at the 'average' speed) you'll get stuck behind a 70 year old woman who's cruising at 50 KMH 3. - Get stuck behind a wave of cars who decide that braking in the left lane for no reason is "fun" or simply because they're amused by the fact that accidents still do happen (Jewish curiosity, I guess) - it may just be a 'fender bender' but they'll still stop. 4. - Forced to slow down because there's a truck/bus in the left lane that decides the road is owned by his dad, so 'there's no rush' , the speed limit is 90, so 89 is "perfect." 5. Forced to brake because there is a woman driving in the middle of both lanes (one of them which is yours) and she's still debating which lane she wants to switch to, so she 'plays it safe' by slowly inching across the line, over the course of 2 kilometers. 6. Be forced to switch lanes (in turn, leaving you to deal with additional morons) because of an Arse who's driving like a maniac in his M5, err, 92' Honda Accord. 7. - A wave of cars, who all need to use the same exit, decide that they are above everyone and that waiting for cars in the right and middle lane to leave is beneath them, so they hit the accelerator and try cutting off everyone in the other 2 lanes by getting to "top speed" in the left lane and then ignorantly switching over. 8. "Hesitant" Drivers who want to merge onto the freeway but don't know if they should speed up or slow down, so they decide to keep up with your speed to see how you react - meanwhile, you're keeping you're speed to make it obvious to them that you're not slowing down or speeding up, , yet they completely manage to stay on your side for the whole length of the shoulder, up until the last 2 meters where they swerve in so they don't crash into the barrier. --And don't get me started on those who don't signal or try to 'squeeze in' and cut you off as if they're driving supercars and they're at a safe distant that you'll notice them... Cruise Control is meant to be relaxing and convenient, so that you don't have to be AS aware and involved in driving (for example: constantly switching lanes to maintain your cruise control speed) So PLEASE PLEASE tell me how you manage to use Cruise Control throughout steady traffic during the day... I would really like to know

נא לא לצטט הודעה קודמת. That's a very good question - and there is no indication of any racism in the syntax. The best thing to do would be to call your insurance company and request details on the policy. Make sure to ask about what is included and what is not - and since it will be a new issue, have the agent send it to you in writing, so you know that you will be covered if, 'Chas V'chalila' something does happen. I don't think there is a more general answer to your question, as each policy and company is different and will approach this new issue in its own way. With time, I assume, they will all cover it as a "Standard." Good luck dealing with this and sorry about the English (if you must, use Google Translate)

Actually, according to advertising found all over NYC, 10 seconds of idling burns the same amount of fuel as turning on the ignition. I'm pretty sure that was based on an "average", so in your case you should DEFINITELY turn the car off if you plan on staying for more than 10 seconds.

Ehmm, with all due respect, I am not here to bash Toyota - I think they are very reliable, and that they were just under the spotlight for too long on this one. What I do have a problem with is you claiming that European companies don't have recalls. I don't know if you've been paying attention to the news the past few years but EVERY other year, if not EACH year there are recalls. It happens. People make mistakes. If you need help researching, let me give you a hand: August 13, 2008: BMW has announced a recall of 200,000 cars and small SUVs because of possible airbag failure. The sensors that detect whether or not a person is seated in the front passenger seat may fail due to wear, preventing the passenger side airbag from deploying in an accident Look how many life-threatening recalls Mercedes Benz has had over the past few years: http://www.lemonauto.com/complaints/1_mercedes_recalls.htm Volkswagen/Audi had a HUGE recall this past summer... I can keep going, but you get my point. The only issue here is that the media has played out this Toyota recall because they CAN. People are waiting in line to sue and there are facts linking the irresponsibility of a company to a loss of lives. Business is business.

Look at that! A coincidence that they called it "Juke" ?! - It actually looks like a bug. Too bad there is a North American release - that's one FUGLY car

You are right, but you are still missing the point I am trying to bring out. The idea of two hands not being "subjective," or being a physical quality = is not proven. The reason I keep stressing this point is because I have difficulty using BOTH of my hands simultaneously (not just with driving). I've actually discussed this idea' with one of my Bio. professors and he explained that sometimes our motor skills are more fine-tuned in one part of the brain, over the other (as you know, the left controls the right part of the body, etc.) What happens at this point, I would assume, is that since the "balance" is not there, it makes it more difficult to use both hands at the same time to act upon a neurological sequence that the brain - the "me" - would like to carry out. Think about it this way: One hand functions at 70% stability (relative to the other hand), and the other functions at 100% - but when using both at the same time, conflicting interpretations carried out by the brain would cause them to function at a rate LESS than the weaker function = the rate of 70%. I'm not trying to make it sound more confusing than it is, I am just interested in seeing a study being carried out one day. I don't disagree with you on the fact that you need both hands to carry out a track drive - there is much spinning involved, so passing the wheel from hand to hand makes it possible, as it would in an accident. But overall, on a day-to-day basis, swerving in and out of lanes is MUCH easier using one hand. Atleast it is for me. *sigh*

Well said-- It's not that I disagree with you, it's that this idea of "2 is better than one" isn't concrete. The fact that people have been doing it and taught that way since who knows when, doesn't necessarily make it right. Logic would say: I have 2 hands to physically control an object, so if I use 2, 2>1. But it is not the case in many different sports or functions of life. We don't write with 2 hands, play football with 2 hands - in fact, trying to throw a ball with 2 hands makes it very difficult to transfer your hand and coordination senses to the ball. All I'm saying is: the argument we're having is like arguing over religion: "Just because 2 billion people believe in something that's been 'settled on' for ages, and there is some truth to it - does not make it the final answer." I would be really interested to see a test done on an obstacle course. Drivers who have been using both hands for years vs. drivers who use one hand. Let them drive on a course with different, unexpected obstacles being thrown at them and see how they react (just like studies have been done on drunk drivers). You may be right in most situations, but I honestly believe that I cannot handle my car with 2 hands - my hands always seem to go in 2 different positions! And it scares the crap out of me
-
Ahh yes. But part of understanding English is understanding the context. I did not say that "professional drivers" use one hand - that would also be almost impossible considering the wheel spin and drifts on turns, your hand cannot physically make it around the wheel without twisting an elbow - but I did say that each driver had different positioning on the wheel. Some were "10 and 2" "3 and 9" and some even had weird positions (11 and 6, and so forth). My point is: there is no "proper" position to place your hands on the wheel. Each person has his own way of controlling a vehicle. That is not to say that I used one hand when driving the M on the track, I , of course, used 2. But in day to day driving, where my car is not experiencing any "road stress" - there is more than enough control using one hand. In fact, many cannot drive using 2 hands because it hurts the shoulders, back, and arms. You may attribute this to the fact that I am not sitting in the, so called, "right " position. But then again, I do sit in the car for comfort. I do not have to torture myself by sitting 5 inches from the wheel - it makes me feel insecure and unsafe. Half of the "Safe driving experience" is being calm and confident, and if you have this down, you will be able to handle many situations better than you thought - better than you would with 2, 3, or 4 hands on the wheel, if you are not confident, you WILL get into an accident regardless of how many hands you have on the wheel. -I'm glad you understood what I wrote
-
In fact, most people who surf the forums and internet all day DO end up using one hand...
-
"אין ספק שתהיה שליטה מדוייקת יותר בעזרת שתי הידיים" That's like saying: Writing with your right hand yields the best results. It may be true for you, but not for everyone. I find it VERY DIFFICULT to have control of the wheel with both of my hands at 10 and 2. My right hand overpowers the left hand and sometimes I make conflicting movements on impulse, so the wheel does not remain stable. Whereas, when I hold the wheel with one hand (and my steering wheel is extermely stable - even at 80 MPH the steering column does not move) there is stability and my reflexes are more in tune with my right hand controlling. It may be logical to hold the wheel with both hands, but you may have more control overall using one hand only - if that is the hand you have COMPLETE control over..., in moments of split-second reflexes, I always found that I have quicker reactions with only one hand - as opposed to two. Furthermore, studies have showed that men feel more relaxed and confident (VERY important in dangerous situation) when holding the wheel with one hand - they tend to see the car as "part of themselves." Consequently, it depends on the person, the car, the situation, and what position allows them to respond quickly - there is no right "10 and 2." Even when I drove the M3 on the track, many of the professional drivers had different ways of holding the wheel as a means of gaining control and extending times on the corners - every person reacts differently.

Yes. There is a Hand-Wash place for 40 Shekel in Herzliya Pituach - I don't remember the street name, but it is located inside the parking lot of a large supermarket.... -
Read up about it over here: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/10/16/hummer-with-wooden-wheels-called-art/ I don't know about you, but I'm not staring at the hummer in that last picture

Here, this might help you out: http://www.ortac.net/Ertugrul/Htm-tr/Bilgi-VespaModeller-1.htm Considering that VESPA was brought to Israel in 1954, you will probably want to look at the models between 1954-58. Good luck! Keep us updated -

I'm Glad to hear that! Hehe, I wish. All the boxes with their stuff is in the house back in New York. I still haven't had the time to go through everything.
