If you haven't found anything by the time you read this, send me a PM and I will give you a number for an insurance company that will privately cover you at an excellent price. Guaranteed to be cheaper than anywhere else. Just have your 'Levi Yitzhak' sheets ready... They specialize in Yevu Ishi and temporary cars... Good luck

If you want to see some comparisons (and more information) this site is really good...I learned a lot from it: http://laserjammer.org/ -Good luck

+1!! I was waiting for someone to touch upon this point. If you don't leave room for the gasoline to expand, the extra gasoline evaportates into the vapor collection system, thus increasing the gas emissions. Sure, it may not effect your pocket, so "Fuck it!" right? WRONG! vvvvvv The evaporation unit's whole job is to take those fumes that lie above the gas itself and forward it to the engine for combustion. If raw gas enters the system, it may ruin your carbon canister, and once you have problems with that...it will take a while before you find out where the source it, and THAT will cost you in the long-run.

Thank You. It will surely stay here, I am not taking it back with me. The question is....who will drive and take care of it? . If you see an older man or woman with kids in the back seat...Wave to my parents

I've seen it around the airport quite a few times (I'm there every week)...At first, I wasn't sure it was a taxi, so I pulled up next to it -
I'm guessing you have a dog...

That sounds about right, but everytime a currency drops against another currency, they always speak of the (country of origin) companies that secure their hedges... WHY? Because constant, steady cash flow is the most important aspect of these large companies - both in high AND low times, avoiding high losses and high gains is usually their top priority. They usually manage by offering cash-back incentives, which, in turn, means that a certain percentage goes to the dealership's pockets on a PER SALE basis. So, if the car costs $10,000 normally, a $700 incentive will be offered to the customer, but on the account of the dealer. In Israel - A place I love so much - dealers will not be willing to lose on their account, so the "incentives" will be reduced ($300, the dealer pockets $400 + his commission) and they will receive their X amount of commission on each car they sell. WIN-WIN for the dealer, MINIMAL price reduction for the consumer. Additionally, if the newer cars were to be reduced in their Invoice price, then both the dealers and the government will be gaining on taxes. It will cost less to import so the dealer pays less, prices will be raised to normal (considering there is a cash incentive), and you, the consumer, will pay taxes the same way you always do. I wouldn't get my hopes up...
-
Actually, it doesn't matter how much it fluctuates, the price will not change for the simple reason that all international companies have hedge funds in place (currency hedges, forward contracts). The point of this is to hedge themselves AGAINST fluctuating rates...which also makes up for the years in which there were many losses...

+1. "I just read this now, and I have to say: "You (the owner of the car) Deserve it. Glad to hear everything worked out! To the OP: Out of curiosity...when the mechanic orders part for your BMW, does he get them from Europe or from the U.S??

One of the reasons why I chose these taillights... Here's an old picture of a Maxima alongside a GTR from my area. Take note, this was taken a while back, as early as the 1st month the GTR was released!

Not at all, I love it. What they did screw up is the fact that it doesn't open like a sunroof!! What a waste (even thought I'm not a huge fan of sunroofs) - they could have atleast made use of it. It is great for light though

I agree with both of you. I would actually be happier if they got a normal percentage of what we fill. They don't make much as it is, and it's a "dirty" job. They shouldn't take a fixed amount on every fill, rather, a certain percentage - with a minimum of 3 shekel. That way, those who don't want to tip can feel good about themselves - and those who'd like to tip even afterwards, G-d bless them. I have tipped here a few times and I get great service when I go to (my local) station - they always go out of their way for me - it's a win-win situation (Regardless, I would leave them something). In regards to getting dirty, you're absolutely right. I can't recall ever getting gas on me or smelling like gas at all. Besides, it smells wonderful
-
I actually enjoy getting out of the car for some air - not to mention, the main reason I go out to fill up is because I don't want them to drip any fuel on the paint when they put the pump in or take it out (but that's me, I'm crazy) Also, I fill 98 and the one or two times that I had someone fill up for me he put 95 (after repeating "98" a few times) and that ticked me off. It's not about the 2 or 3 shekel, (besides, my tank fills 430 Shekel of 98 Octane - so I guess 2 or 3 Shekel makes no difference) Gas here is EXPENSIVE By the way, how many of you tip them, in addition to the 2 or 3 shekel that they get? Just wondering...

It's called a "Sky-view" and it sits vertically, as opposed to the regular horizontal ones... (I attached a picture for you on the bottom of this post - it's an old one, but it will do) Thank you. I saw this article recently and I'm glad to hear that they're taking a look it. The only issue I have is that those are the new Maximas and, even though I think they look good, they're missing that "sporty" look that the older ones used to have. Now it seems that the Maxima is aimed towards the older crowd - And at that price range it would be better to just pick up the G37 Sedan. Maybe it's just me Yes, they are popular in the U.S. If you've noticed, many of the custom body shops like to work with the Maximas - there are plenty of after-market parts and engine modifications available. Therefore, no 2 maximas are alike, there are thousands of possibilities to making your car look unique... In regards to what I said, I guess it just rolls of the tongue better, hehe. Isn't this enough English for you?

Thanks. I haven't driven to the University in 2 months...As of next week, I'll be back Who, me? I don't know...I'd only be willing to sell it to someone serious who's willing to baby the car like I did...People still ask me if I just bought it, lol...Thanks for the compliment Thanks, I put a lot of time and $ into making sure that all the cosmetic changes would look Original and to retain the "Classiness" of the car. I liked the idea that it's a comfortable sedan (the seats hug you) and yet it can be customized to a sporty look and feel. It's why I chose it over the G35, hehe (more practical too- everyone sits comfortably). And no, I don't have an M3, but some of my friends do so I'm working on getting one when I get back. We'll see how work and school goes and I will surely post up some pictures of my new ride in the next few months (if not an M3, then a maybe the Nismo version of the 370Z, I like that car). "Chaval" that they don't sell this car here - it has many options when it comes to tuning and performance in the U.S., it would be nice to see it here too. Thank you - that's the reaction I hoped for!
-
Looks good, I like the L.E.D.s by the rear plate...but I'm a little bit biased
-
Thank you...I was scared to "over do it" with many of the modifications. I thought twice and researched before each exterior change so that it wouldn't look out of place (or 'cheap'). Overall, I was really happy with what I went with. Thanks for all the compliments

Yes, "Chaval" to take it back...

Well, as you can see, it's the SE (sport) edition. Standard V6 3.5L engine, rated: 255 HP @ 6000 R.P.M. I added a LONG RAM CAI (that's rated at +13 horsepower - but that's overly exaggerated ) and I had an ECU cleanup done by "Bull DOG" that enhances the fuel economy (it was always good for a 3.5L engine)and pushes another 27 Horsepower (again, slightly exaggerated by them). Torque is rated at 252lb/ft, but it feels so much more powerful when it comes down to it. It may just be because of the continuous "pull" of the transmission, and I LOVE it. Don't get me wrong, it has PLENTY of power in the higher R.P.M.s - I couldn't be happier. Had the car for 2 years and it still puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel
-
Very likely...I'm there a lot
-
!!Thanks
-
SHHH. I don't have an M3...You forget, I am in Israel for now
-
Not a lot -it just seems that way because of the long exposure*** The headlights are 6000k and the foglights are 8000k

I brought the car under a Student Visa (I came to study for one year in Israel, and my parents moved here recently) I received permission to pay the taxes and leave it here - so I will be getting Israeli plates any day now... I will be going back home in a month or so
