    Pls note , that Denon, MX406 and DRX9255 have ANALOG volume and bass/treble switches. There is no way for detachable panel. I dont want to enter now for the benefits.

    Old Clarion DRX9255 is EXACTLY the same as MX406. According to some Forums old Adzest DRX9255 Japanese version of Clarion evev beter then MX406. If you want we can compare it.

    Probably " avar tikun" . Hard to believe that it left the factory this way. Or may be refurbished? Who is the source of the sub? My sub is perfectly OK.

    Why this is so important to you? Yuo need to adjust polarity any way according to your car.

    Basicaly you are right. My statement is per my private opinion. But pls not that DRX9255/MC406 produced since 1997 almost without any change till today. Even when DRZ9255 came out , production of DRX9255/MC406 still remain. Pls show me another unit that survived 10years!!!

    A lot of traveling between International Car Sound Shows. Also a lot of testing as an EMMA Judge.

    Sorry to tel you., but I heard Denon, F1,DRZ9255, ES XR-C900,Nakamichi CD-700II. DRX2955/MC406 HAVE THE BEST SOUND.
