What are you trying to do/achive and in what state? for example, if you buy in one state and you want to register in another there are such things as a title only transfer, that way you dont need to pay road use taxes twice.. If you look at the scale, it shows that you can use a higher voltage seting on 0.6 wire then 0n 0.8 wire....in other words...better penetration Not to say thats its not going to work.....it will make for a better, cleaner weld, with less chance of burning off the sheet metal, (the smaller wire melts easier, so you want the thin wire for the thin work) Used to live in VN...off Magnolia between VNB and Kester....that was many years ago... Using a mig and geting good penetration is more of an art rather then a science, its all done by the SOUND, When you will hןא the right ballance between the voltage and the wire speed, you will hear it and know it, there is no way to put it into words... Imagine the sound of a jet takeing off combined with the sound of automatic fire רעש מהיר ועצבני If you feel kick back...wire speed too fast or voltage too low If you hear poping ..wire speed too low If you are making metel desapear...voltage and/or wire speed too high Finding the right ballance........priceless!

Moti I have a similar mig to yours, a Century 135A, I use it strictly for sheet metal for anything bigger then 1/8 I use a Miller 175A (220v) If you are talking about re-enforcing the body with some 1/8 plate, the Lincoln will be just fine. To those like BARAK who are unaware of California law A missing title means nothing, All you have to do is fill a statment of facts, writing in that the title is lost, show a bill of sale (KABALA)....pay the fees ($) and a new title will be issued in your name. just a fyi Motorcraft is Fords replacmant parts division they dont make filters, they source them from other filter manufacturers Case in point: years ago I went to the Nissan dealer to buy a oil filter, when I got home and took it out of the box it had a little sticker on it that said: "made in Israel At least here in the US there are only 3 major filter manufacturers, evry brand name is made by one of the 3 companies Moral of the story: If you insist on original replacmant parts....it just might be the same part as a no name brand in a fancier box!
