So you say it will work and and just give more power? It seems to be a simple way to get more power from your amp.... Anyone tried to use the amp this way?

Hi. I am thinking about a very strange amplifier installation. The amplifier is hifonics zeus 6400zx. http://www.cardomain.com/item/HIFZX6400 The speakers I will connect to it are Morel dotech 6 mk2 140RMS. Four speakers. Ok, so here is the trick The amp gives 85RMS at each channel without a bridge. So if I connect it simpy I will get 85 to each speaker. But what if I bridge the amp to get 2 channels with 340RMS each and connect 2 speakers at each channel? The amp will give 340 RMS @ 4ohm and will be connected to 2x140RMS @ 4ohm =2ohm Even that the amp power will not rise(amp isn't working at 2ohm) I will have 340RMS that is 120RMS for each speaker.... I will have a stereo sound as it is two channels but I will lose a balance betwean front and rear(I have no need of that, as the speakers are middle and rear) Will this "kambina" work what do you say? I once tested my friends subwoofer that was dual 4ohm=2ohm resistance and my amp worked. so it's seems to be ok to use it at bridged and connected to 2 ohm.

Sorry for english. The reason I do it this way is not primary to save money. I have a little knowledge about car mehanics and it's my try to start studying it so I will know what is going on in my vehicle. The parts I ask for should not be the cheapest that are compatible, I want a good parts that feet my car needs. I would of course do everything my self but I am afraid that I will break things. So I want to do it with a help of mehanician for a first time. About the Engine oil, you say LM 5-40 ? Where may I buy it?

yep, I have repaired it (it was actualy a cleaning) I payed 250 NIS. I was very suprised by the price, all my friends told me that any repair procedure in audi will cost at least xxxx and not less.

Hi. I have asked some days ago about a problem I had with an audi a3 that had RPM Jumping all over between 0.5-1.2 Many of you said it is AFM(Air flow meter) I may disapoint you it is not. I was at E&A Autosport and analyzed the car, the problem was in the air switch and not the meter. The analizes where made for free. So anyone else that have this kind problem, first go and analize your car with computerized equipment then start repairing something. BTW nice service/people thoose E&A autosport. Had pleasure to deal with them. Regards.

Thanks man, I will call you at sunday. A friend of my (a mechanic known as gsi16v in the forum), checked the car and did not find the problem. If you say you may give me a free diagnostics I will of course accept your offer with pleasure and ofcourse pay you for the repair/cleaning needed to fix this. Hi. I have bought an audi a3 4 days ago and I have a very strange engine behavior. When I switch the engine on, it's rpm is jumping between 0.5RPM~1.2RPM. It is nothing critical but it should not be that way. The other thing, is for example I drive at 3th gear, then drop to nutral and start braking then it appears again. RPM start to jump at the same range... What may it be? Should I rise engine RPM? Vehicle specs: audi a3 1.8 turbo 1998 at a buying check at "mahon elisha" they said that engine is in perfect condition. I have a check report with some data on it, if you tell me what exactly may help you tell me I will type it here (or maybe scan the document) Regards.

Hi. I need to ensure what size of speakers audi a3 1998 have? I need the size of fron and rear doors. Infact a front door and a rear holes that are for passangers not at the plate where the bagage is. Is it 5.25 or 6.5?

No, I am not sure what would it be... I may take as an example that I had while traveling at Kineret, when I had some "ARS" with unknown sub that didn't gave me to sleep(it should be verrry loud, much louder than my girlfriends full volume.) he was about 150 meters from me... Not that I heared something other than bass anyway... Not that want to have my system only with basses, but I want the SPL to be near the one I heared then.

Yep, I just mistyped of course I will put hybrid in the front (if I buy it) currently I have hifonics 4x85 and dotech 6, and an small pioneer 305c sub all the rest of the equipment is planned So would you advice me to buy some good 6x9 and put them in the rear? BTW the car is audi a3 if it's has any sense or would it be better to buy hybrid 6 and a nice midbass? The formula I want to build is about 6spl/4sq if I take 10 as maximum grade.

I expect a kick ass SPL form this sytem as well as SQ that will statisfy a midrange audiophile. Is there anything I should change/add ? Midbass? Maybe replacing rear component by 6x9(not sure but...) Any advice is welcome.
