Hi. I recently bought the mentioned vehicle. I would like to hear some tips/advices about it's mechanical and upkeep specifics. What oil it likes ? (is lique moly 5-40 ok?) what filters and how often should I replace them ? Is there any place in israel that knows to give it a service it deserves ? As I don't think all ford approved garages are the best bet As well would be very thankful for giving me some driving style tips. Can't figure out what RPM should I keep it on. It simply takes climb with 1.2rpm on 3-rd gear but is it healthy or should I try to keep it a bit higher ? I have read somewhere that it's TCS takes extra fuel, should I turn it off one I am comfortable with the car ? Car details: built in 2005 - on road since 2006-feb engine: V6 4.0L 210HP gear: manual additions: double clutch, quickshift. P.S You may answer in Hebrew!

Hi. I am thinking about purchasing ford mustang 2006 (built in 2005, registered on road in 2006, came to Israel in 2008). That would be my first mustang and I would be very thankful if someone may guide me a bit. What should I check ? (other than the pre-purchase check) that is specific to mustang What about prices on it's parts ? I have audi a3 1.8T now. Do Mustang part prices bypass it ? How heavy ? Better choice: 2GB of ram and high speed CPU and don't care about what opens up on start up. I just don't have enough pation to clear that stuff and look at the date man .

The question is simple. Is there any way to create a "box" or something that protects the inside from the punches of the bass? "Something" in my case is a laptop computer's hard drive(of course I mean to put the entire laptop somewhere rather then create protection inside laptop).

You say that tiny wire gives 12volts on remote? I mean the wire that comes from radio disc remote to amplifier remote port... I thought it's 3 votls . I will read my manual again... if it's 12volts then there is no porblem... By the way, laptop is almost ready everything is automated and works perfect. Need $$$ to buy monitor... Keep in touch.

The question is very simple, as it says in topic. How can I turn on the amplifier without radio-disc/tape. My headunit is laptop. My amplifier is hifonics zeus 6400zx. I am far from professional in car audio installtions so I everything I can tell that the amp has "remote" input wire that as far as I understand is 3volts. I don't have normal head unit so I don't have any 3volts voltage in my vehicle. What "combina" can I make to turn the amp on? Regards.

I will try that experiment you told me with volume of amplifier and sound card. I am just waiting for a friend of my that can help me with the amplifier adjustment(I am complete dumb in this). I will tell you what we got. I am using xmms, http://www.xmms.org player to play music. My OS is Linux so I can't use winamp. XMMS is VERY similar to winamp though and i already have it controlled by ifrared remote control so it's my choice.

I have morel dotech 6 components and the noise comes from it's original twiters. I don't think my twiters are "maafan". Maybe if you buy 1 container of gum you get them . The amplifier is Hifonics zeus 6400zx 4x85RMS or 2x350RMS when bridged.(suports only 4ohm) My hardware is not high end stereo system but it's not cheap so I don't think there should be any noise becouse of it. I am in doubt that ibm laptop can give the same sound quality level as the stuff I connect it to.

What I hear is a noise comming from the twiters when volume level is high. I never heared such a noise with anything else.... So I think I will need to replace the sound card. Anyway I will soon visit someone that can realize what kind of nise it is. Maybe amplifier should be reconfigured or something.... I will keep you posted.

Hi. I am about to install my laptop as a head unit in my car. I want to know what quality can I expect from my laptop built in sound card and the possibilities I have in upgrades. My laptop is IBM Centrino T41. I already tryed to connect it to the amplifier and hear the sound. Let's say it seems it goes poor when I rise the volume to high level.... What is quality of USB/PCMCIA sound cards that can be installed? Will it give an average-good quality when connected to amplifier(hifonics 6400xz)? What is the average price for such sound card is and what type will feet my needs best? Any feedback of someone that has already tried something like this or tried connecting laptop to another non-car sound system will be welcome. Please don't complain about the comfort of using a laptop(it's more comfortable then any player if you really know how to configure it). Best Regards. PS: Yes I can read hebrew
