Falou, I was just trying to answer Feints original question that started this thread, and that is to just use your brakes for everyday use, abs is great for stopping your car in an emergency & brake pads are easily & cheaply replaced I would also advise going to a driving lesson like Alternativi and learn what your car does when you brake hard

For day to day driving just use your brakes. It is a lot cheaper to replace a few pads than a motor Advanced "agressive" sports driving is something else, using heavy breaking & downshifts together and for different reasons

Every time you give up a little freedom ( because its convenient) it makes it easier for "them" to take away another little freedom the next time In the USA the police think seven times before harrassing someone for no good reason , because they get sued for millions each time. kompy אני מסכים איתך שנהיגה מתקדמת\ספורטיבית לומדים רק ממורים מומחים, אבל יש פה הרבה צעירים עם הרבה שאלות , חלק עדיין בלי רשיון וחלק נהגים חדשים, ואם יקראו ויבינו שלנהוג מהר זה לא כל העניין - יחפשו את המורה הנכון ללמוד ממנו. אני עוד מעט בן 40. אני נוהג על מכוניות חזקות וספורטיביות 20 שנה - עד לפני 5 או 6 שנים לא היה מורה אחד בארץ. היום יש לא מעט אפשריות - אלטרנטיבי, מסלולים, פרדי, מגרשי החלקה באשקלון, נחשונים, SKIDCARS..... אבל יש גם חברה שאין להם מאות שקלים לקורס נהיגה והם קראו כאן, ובפורומים אחרים, על כמה כיף לעשות רייס עד 200 קמ"ש או איזה מדהים זה הנסיעה בנס הרים ומצפה רמון שתוקפים את הסיבובים ב150 קמ"ש בנוף הפסטורלי - ואולי, רק אולי, אם יקראו חומר כמו בLINK למעלה, יבינו שלפני שנכנסים לאוטו של אבא עם עוד שלושה חברה "לכבוש" את ההר, כדאי שיתאמנו במנחת נטוש או מגרש חניה או כביש צדדי ע"מ להבין עוד כמה יש ללמוד. ועכשיו אני יוצא לסיבוב.....
